India women’s archery team beating Colombia 5-3 Rio 2016 Olympics

India women’s team today will be up against Colombia in their Archery encounter. India so far has been a bit successful in this frame with Atanu Das fine composure and skill to bounce back from a poor start in his maiden Olympics to finish fifth in the qualification round. While the men’s archery had something to cheer about for the nation.

The women’s team of Deepika Kumari, Bombayla Devi and Laxmirani Majhi were placed seventh with 1,892 points at the time of going to press. Deepika made a solid start and even led briefly but she later fell to 20th place and seemed to be struggling in the wind.
